I got married past September in a gorgeous designer dress (it was my dream dress) and it preserved here. I paid and picked up my wedding dress about a month ago. They packaged it up very nicely. I didn't want to open it and ruin anything so I left it as is. Last night I open up the box and see that it is NOT my dress. I went into the store this morning very CALM AND NICE . I informed the manager that this is not my dress and she went into the back for a bit and returned with the correct gown. HOWEVER she was incredibly rude and said that she asked me when i picked up my dress if it was big and i said yes (picture above for reference) and so she gave me this particular box. I asked why i didn't hear anything for a month to inquire if i have opened the box because somewhere out there a girl doesn't have her dress. She replied saying she lost the ticket and mistakes happen. I asked to please speak to the owner because this is a nightmare experience and i can't believe that it wasn't automatically offered to cover the $140 i paid them to have this experience. The manager told me that i was taking advantage of the situation. I have never in my life asked for my money back. I can't believe that this is their reaction and without a single care or apology for the amount of distress and worry that this has caused. I left my number for the owner to call me but the manager literally rolled her eyes when i gave it to her.
